Soft law

Soft law
"Blød lovgivning". Ofte anvendt betegnelse for den form for regulering, der ikke betjener sig af tvangsprægede sanktioner (i form af retligt bindende forbud, påbud m.v.), men som i højere grad tilskynder bestemte handlemåder ud fra andre incitamenter, f.eks. forestillinger om, hvad der er etisk korrekt handlemåde eller ønsket om at opnå langsigtede fordele ved koordineret adfærd. Regulering ved branchebestemte regler om "god skik" standarder (s.d.) er eksempler på soft law-regulering.
